What We Offer

Adult and children Summer Camp, Respite, day camp, retreats, and more to come.

Our camp boasts a wide range of amenities to make every camper’s stay memorable. The lodge is a cozy gathering spot featuring a large-screen TV, games, karaoke, and more—ideal for movie nights or staying entertained on rainy days. Creative campers can enjoy our hobby shop, where they can dive into arts and crafts projects. The recreation hall is the perfect venue for plays, dances, and other exciting group activities. All meals are served in our spacious dining hall, where campers come together to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes.

We also have a chapel, which doubles as an additional recreation center for special activities and can be rented out during the off-season for events like weddings. Our wheelchair-accessible in-ground heated pool is a relaxing spot for swimming, and, of course, Lake Huron offers endless opportunities for water-based fun.

Other camp highlights include our spacious, easy-to-use shower house, a charming gazebo for peaceful moments, and a bonfire area, perfect for evening gatherings. Each of these spaces is designed to enhance the camp experience and provide comfort, entertainment, and relaxation.

Summer Camp

Our camp runs for eight weekly sessions each summer, with each session beginning on Sunday at 3:00 PM and concluding on Friday at 1:00 PM. Campers enjoy a full week of accessible activities—including swimming, arts and crafts, nature exploration, talent shows, campfires, and so much more—supported by dedicated staff and on-site medical professionals.

Day Camp

Campers drop in Monday through Thursday as a pre-registered day camper to any session.

Respite Weekends

New in Fall 2025: Respite Weekends at Camp Grace Bentley

Beginning in Fall 2025, Camp Grace Bentley will offer respite weekends designed to provide a fun, supportive getaway for campers with disabilities while giving families a well-deserved break. These weekend sessions will run from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon and include many of the same beloved camp activities—like crafts, games, music, and nature time—in a smaller, more relaxed setting. With our experienced staff and on-site medical support, families can feel confident knowing their child is in caring hands. Respite weekends are a great way for campers to reconnect with friends, enjoy the magic of camp year-round, and build independence in a familiar and welcoming environment.

Retreats

Coming in 2026: Family Retreats at Camp Grace Bentley

Starting in 2026, Camp Grace Bentley will expand its programming to include special retreat weekends for families of children with disabilities. These retreats will offer dedicated sessions for mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, and even whole families, as long as one member has a diagnosed special need. Designed to strengthen bonds and create shared memories, these weekends will feature fun, adaptive activities, campfires, nature walks, group games, and time to relax together. With accessible facilities, experienced staff, and a supportive atmosphere, our family retreats provide a unique opportunity to connect, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of camp as a family.
